Candy leads HKC team to create product called "Mirrorgotchi" won HK Jockey Club “Age-Friendly Innovation award”!



Using Microsoft Facial AI engine to monitor elderly's emotion, bluetooth technology to remote monitor healthiness, AR technology to make sure exercise position ok and SOS button for emergency call integrate with Smart mirror.

"Mirrorgotchi" means this mirror is your friend. Elderly can do daily healthy check and emergency call via this mirror.


Jockey Club Age-friendly City Partnership Scheme Award


The first year Award Presentation Ceremony for the Jockey Club Age-friendly City Partnership Scheme was held on 5 June 2019 at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with Mr Nicholas Yang, Secretary for Innovation and Technology; Mr Leong Cheung, Executive Director, Charities & Community of The Hong Kong Jockey Club ("HKJC"); Dr Lam Ching-choi, Chairman of Elderly Commission; Professor KC Chan, Adjunct Professor of Finance of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology; and Mr Jasper Tsang, Vice-Chairman of Hong Kong Policy Research Institute as the officiating guests, to recognise the outstandingly performed companies and organisations in promoting an age-friendly culture in the past year.


Ms Candy Liu, General Manager, Hong Kong Communication produce "Mirrorgotchi" product is won the Innovation Award. Mirrorgotchi is a newly developed home intelligent smart mirror which provides a complete range of elderly care services from healthcare to home entertainment in one touch smart platform.
